DATELINE: SEPT. 16TH, 2006 American Warmblood Society Seminar & Inspection SPIRIT DANCE RANCH & EQUESTRIAN CENTER, LLC COLEMAN, WI
Spirit Dance Ranch’s (SDR) two Arabian Stallions “Rocked” the American Warmblood Society (AWS) Inspection at SDR on 9-16-06! Out of 17 horses of all breeds represented at the inspection, the Straight Egyptian stallion “Salil of Sabbah” owned by Cheryl Dikkers of Spirit Dance Ranch took top honors with a score of 75.34% earning him the “AWS Gold Medal Award” and the honors of “Top Horse” of the inspection. By earning the score of 75% or above, Salil of Sabbah is now recognized by AWS as an “Approved for Breeding Stallion.” Salil was proudly presented by amateur handler, Robert Purvis.

The Silver Medal Award was earned by the PB Black Arabian stallion, “DBA Phoenix” also proudly owned by Cheryl Dikkers of Spirit Dance Ranch. Phoenix was also proudly presented by amateur handler, Robert Purvis earning a score of 75.19%, also qualifying Phoenix as an “Approved for Breeding Stallion” with AWS.

We are tremendously proud and excited about the AWS Approval for Breeding Status earned by both of our beautiful Arabian stallions! This is not a simple accomplishment for a Non-Warmblood Stallion and the scores of both horses clearly indicate that their excellence as Sport Horses and as Sport Horse sires is recognized by AWS! Robert also won the “Best Handler” award for his presentation of both horses at the AWS Inspection. Way to go Robert and “the boys”!!!!
